🇪🇺 EU Compliance: This statement is prepared in accordance with the EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102) and follows the requirements of EN 301 549 v3.2.1 (2021-03).

Our Commitment

ContentCloud is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all our users.

Our goal is to meet or exceed the requirements of WCAG 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549, the European standard for ICT accessibility requirements suitable for public procurement in the EU.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

ContentCloud is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Accessibility Features

Our website includes the following accessibility features:

Technical Measures

  • Semantic HTML5: Proper use of heading hierarchy, landmarks, and semantic elements
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard (Tab, Enter, Space, Arrow keys)
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus states for all interactive elements
  • Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Responsive Design: Content adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%
  • Alternative Text: Descriptive alt text for informative images; decorative images marked as such
  • ARIA Labels: Appropriate ARIA attributes for complex interactive components
  • Skip Links: Skip-to-content links for keyboard users
  • Form Labels: All form inputs have associated labels and error messages
  • Motion Preferences: Respects prefers-reduced-motion for users sensitive to animations

Screen Reader Support

  • Tested with NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS)
  • Live regions for dynamic content updates
  • Descriptive link text (no "click here" links)
  • Proper heading structure for navigation

Content Accessibility

  • Plain language where possible
  • Clear and consistent navigation
  • Sufficient time to read and interact with content
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second
  • Multiple ways to find content (navigation, search, sitemap)

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions:

  • Third-party content: Some embedded content from third-party services may not be fully accessible. We are working with our vendors to improve this.
  • PDF documents: Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are in the process of remediating these documents. If you need assistance accessing a PDF, please contact us.
  • Complex data visualizations: Some charts and graphs may require alternative text descriptions. We provide data tables as alternatives where possible.

Assistive Technologies

ContentCloud is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Alternative input devices (switch controls, eye-tracking)

Testing and Monitoring

We employ the following methods to ensure and maintain accessibility:

  • Automated Testing: Regular automated scans using axe DevTools and Lighthouse
  • Manual Testing: Keyboard navigation testing and screen reader testing
  • User Testing: Feedback from users with disabilities
  • Code Reviews: Accessibility checks during development

Accessibility of ContentCloud relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

ContentCloud assessed the accessibility of this website by the following approaches:
